Gods Riches At Christ's Expense
The Congregation of Grace is here to SERVE and not to be served. We aren't here to make money or to become our own island where we only welcome our members and "other Lutherans" who happen to stop in.
To the contrary, Grace Lutheran Church is here for our community! We are here to serve the people of our community by offering a place of worship, prayer, study, fellowship, and growth in Christ.
The most important way we do this is not through our Benevolence Fund, but through prayer. ALL THINGS are from God - there is no gift given that is not given because God has first given to us. The GREATEST gift God has given us is His only son Jesus Christ who, for our sakes, died on the cross and rose again for forgiveness and eternal life of His people.
Our prayer is that you continue to grow in faith toward God and fervent love toward one another, and that through faith and love, you will rely less and less on yourself and on such things as money and possessions as you come to realize that God will never abandon you or forsake you and will never leave you empty. We pray this in Jesus' Name. Amen.
How does Grace serve its community?
- Benevolence and Giving
If it not for prayer, worship, fellowship and education, there would be no benevolence and giving. Therefore we thank and praise God that we can offer financial support to our community through gifts such as utility bill support, groceries, gasoline, and other needs.
